The Bank accepts money in deposit from private and legal persons - residents and non-residents of the Republic of Latvia.

2. What types of deposit does the Bank offer?

JSC SMP Bank offers the following deposit programs:

• ordinary deposit
• target deposit
• permanent deposit

3. In what currency is it possible to invest money in the Bank?

• lats (LVL)
• US dollars (USD)
• euros (EUR)

4. By what means are deposits accepted?

• in cash
• by transfer

5. How often is interest paid out on the deposit?

Depending on the wishes of the client, the Bank can pay out interest on a deposit once a month or at the end of the deposit term.

6. In what cases are deposit accounts closed?

Deposit accounts are closed in the following cases:

• at the expiry of the deposit term and following the payment of the full deposit sum and calculated interest
• at the request of either party

7. Is it possible to withdraw a deposit that is a card's credit guarantee?

A security deposit may be received after 40 days from the moment of the closing of the card on the condition that all obligations have been settled with the bank.

8. Is it possible to terminate a deposit before the scheduled term?

A client is entitled to withdraw a simple and purpose deposit before the schedule term by notifying the Bank accordingly 30 days beforehand and in the case of a deposit with no fixed term - 7 days beforehand.
